Hopeful Story, December 25, 2016

When we think of church, or anything for that matter, it seems that today's society thinks of the negative first. The songs were too old, the sermon too traditional and the kids learned nothing again in Sunday School.
In the third case, this must not be true for my daughter, Rayna, who is so excited about church and Sunday School she constantly talks about it in her class and with her friends. She was so exuberant when telling her stories, one of her friends pestered her mom until she contacted us and found out more about church. For the last month, Rayna's friend Emilie, her sister and her mother have been coming to Hope (Emilie's dad came to see the JAM City Christmas Program).
Imagine if we, as adults, were so excited about church that those we shared this excitement came and brought their families with them. Thank you to those who teach Sunday School and make it exciting enough for 7 year olds to exuberantly share with their friends!
Remember to invite someone this Christmas season to church.
