As a church family, we spent last week in a posture of prayer and preparation. Prayer inviting God into our ministries, and preparation for the ministry year to come. Over the week, groups of people gathered here, with each evening focusing on a different element of our ministry. We believe to our very core, that God walks this journey with us, all the time “whispering” encouragement to us! Although the staff and ministry leaders spend countless hours in prayer and preparation for the upcoming year, our Week of Prayer and Fasting invites those that call Hope Fellowship home to join in a posture of prayer, seeking affirmation and blessing on the plans we’ve made, from THE God who makes all plans possible. In fact, he encourages us to dream bigger than we can even imagine, trusting that HE will bless our efforts.
One of our prayers heading into this ministry year was that we would set our eyes on a community of believers that stepped up and into ‘the game’… into full participation! We hope to continue to build a culture of blessing… of blessing others both inside and outside the walls of this church. Last week, we intentionally invited people to prayerfully consider areas of service, and the people of HOPE stepped up again. Our staff received numerous “Ministry Position Sign Up” forms indicating areas of passion, strengths and gifting… and many offering themselves to more than just one!

Mobilizing HOPER’s to actively serve inside and outside of our church walls is how we move into the role of transformation agents that God desires of us!
