Hopeful Story, March 4, 2018

Summer seems like a long way away, especially with the snow that greeted us on Friday morning. But it’s not that far away if you happen to be planning for Vacation Bible School. Our dedicated team of volunteers started working in January to make this event the best it can possibly be
.
The purpose of VBS is to reach kids with the love of Jesus—our own kids and community kids. They play an equally important part as those who have never been part of a church community get to see what it’s like.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of Hope Fellowship, for the prayers, the volunteers, the donations of food and drink and supplies without which we could not run VBS.
This year’s theme is Rescued by Jesus and each day we will learn something new and meet a new friend.
  • Day 1 we meet Hope, who teaches us that when we’re lonely, Jesus rescues
  • Day 2 we meet Beacon, who teaches us that when we worry, Jesus rescues
  • Day 3 we meet Rae who teaches us that when we struggle, Jesus rescues
  • Day 4 we meet Guac who teaches us that when we do wrong, Jesus rescues
  • Day 5 we meet Moe, who teaches us that when we're powerless, Jesus rescues
The team preparing for VBS includes Jennifer, Cheryl and Erin. Your prayers for them as they prepare would be most appreciated.
People of Hope, watch for ways in which you can be part of this experience. Save the dates: July 2-6, 2018.
