Our first Women Together event took place April 2011, and was created to bring women from various places together for a day to relax, renew and relate with each other
.
This day has seen key note speakers from far and wide bring messages of encouragement, entertainment and soul searching to all who attended.
While our speakers have changed each year, our dynamic worship leaders Grace and Colleen have led us through moving music to draw us into what God has for us to hear during the day. They lift up the name of our God incredibly as we together raise voices in praise.
Our semi annual (once every other year) day is scheduled to take place again this year, on April 7. The day goes from 8:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. A delicious lunch is included and there’s even time and space for a little bit of fair trade shopping. Tickets are available at the office during the week and at the Info Centre on Sundays and cost $35.00.
Our speaker this year is Donna Carter and she will teach us to “Kick the Boring Our of Your Life”.
Men, encourage the women in your life to take a day out.
