This past Wednesday I was privileged to represent Hope Fellowship at Pastors Day at Knox Christian School.
I wish you could have all been there to see the Durham High School praise team lead worship and the Knox kids sing along and participate by playing drums!
To share in this experience with ‘real’ pastors from different denominations around Clarington and hear the youngest kids read their version of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10) was awesome!
We all broke into groups, each with a blend of students from JK – 8 and a pastor, and Principal Marcus asked us to write down all the things we could do to be a ‘good Samaritan’ to our ‘neighbours’.
To share in, and experience the students create their lists and share them with the larger group was very cool. It was so good to see so many students from Hope Fellowship in their classroom setting, and I would like to thank each one for making me feel so welcome! Thanks for the KNOX coffee Mug!
