Last week the leadership Summit took place locally at Liberty Church in Bowmanville. Many people in leadership at Hope Fellowship were able to attend.
Bill Hybels famously says and repeats, because it’s worth repeating, “Leadership matters. When leaders get better everybody benefits.”
We may be without a Pastor(s) currently but we are not without leadership.
At Hope Fellowship we have leadership on all levels—imperfect leaders that need your support, and prayers and teamwork. What is your position of leadership and influence? The places God has put you in need your contributions and leadership. We all need to see the importance every person plays in God’s kingdom, sharing the good news of a redemptive plan of a living relationship with Jesus.
To find out what is happening at Hope Fellowship please plan to attend our fall all church meeting. It was originally scheduled for Nov. 24th. Please note that, due to a rental, the date has been changed to Thursday, December 1.
Several of the speakers at The Global Summit talked about self-awareness and team awareness. We need to understand where we have issues so that as individuals and as teams can address those areas and get stronger and better. In the last newsletter submission it was mentioned that we would be participating in the NCD- Natural Church Development. Plans are underway to do that and we are looking to coordinate that with the SPC-Succession Planning Committee. The SPC are working on getting feedback from the congregation with a questionnaire. Who are we at Hope Fellowship? What are our needs? This feedback is important and when you are asked to participate you make a difference by doing so.
We want Godly transformation to be a part of our journey, individually and corporately. We want to be “a community embracing and living out God’s redemptive plan.”
Remember “Leadership matters. When leaders gets better everyone benefits.”
